HTC Magic is India’s first Google Android mobile phone. The cell phone looks and feels compact in your hands but offers a nice 3.2 inch touch sensitive LCD screen. It’s priced at about Rs. 29,000/-. For Google fans the HTC Magic price is quite attractive. They get their favorite Google services like Google Search, GMail, Google Maps, and YouTube in their mobile phone. However, the tag of Rs. 29,000 also means the cell phone is beyond aam admi’s reach. It’s targeted at the middle and upper middle class consumers.
HTC Magic’s key features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and video recording capabilities. An internal GPS antenna, Bluetooth 2.0 and wi-fi connectivity. Microsoft Outlook sync features and the SmartDialer are other highlights of the phone. But just being the first Android mobile phone in India, HTC Magic got a lot of attention. It’s one of the hot selling smartphones in India.
